Last time we went there was December 7, 1979. At that time the best intel profesor we had was an 8086.

But NASA said that we lost the technology needed to be able to put man in the moon. They lost the files , the information and the labs needed to build the space craft used to go there.

It was an amazing feat of engineering, and it's probably one of the highlights of US history. They managed to get to the moon before Unix Epoch, which starts in 1970. Incredible really.
