The Laser Ranging Retroreflector (LRRR) was the first ever deployable lunar laser ranging experiment. It was carried on Apollo 11 as part of the Early Apollo Scientific Experiments Package
The LRRR consists of a series of corner reflectors set within a panel. Laser beams sent from Earth are bounced off the retroreflector and the timing of the return signal can be used to measure the distance from the signal source to the reflector.
Last time we went there was December 7, 1979. At that time the best intel profesor we had was an 8086.
We didn’t have internet or cell phones. No electric cars and any of the advances that brings like improved batteries and solar panels, etc.
But NASA said that we lost the technology needed to be able to put man in the moon.
They lost the files , the information and the labs needed to build the space craft used to go there.
I haven't looked into it, which is why I've never heard that they lost the files.
Maybe they are strategically building missiles on the dark side of the moon (check out a book "The Next 100 Years"), & don't want anyone to know about it.
India just reached the south pole of the moon and its realistic that the state is fucking retarded in losing their manuals due to human error in fact bitcoin is built on the premise that we can't trust the institutions.
The problem with antivaxxers, flat earthers and well people that deny the moon landing with so much evidence that is against their beliefs is that they make look people that are skeptic of the state look crazy and well thats why we need to constantly call out this fucking lunatics.
I’m not anti vaccination or earth flatter, I still believe man went to the moon, but I like to question things. I wanted to see what the people have to say about it.
Maybe you need to go to church and pray for your soul ?
To be honest i don't care i think the solution for the future is accelerationism and basically that philosophy doesn't care about what happened before i just think most lefties specially the ones that want a one big goverment and a lot of the right including the qanon vaccine deniar followers are stagnated and therefore not a threath to our current system.
But NASA said that we lost the technology needed to be able to put man in the moon.
What nonsense is that crap?
They even published the Apollo Guidance Computer source code in GitHub. Here's a story about it
It was an amazing feat of engineering, and it's probably one of the highlights of US history. They managed to get to the moon before Unix Epoch, which starts in 1970. Incredible really.
If you want to hear at the original audio of the missions, I highly recommend listening to The Race for Space from Public Service Broadcasting, a really cool album with great songs that tell the story of the race to the moon landing.
How did the astronaut poo and pee during 6+ days of travel and landed time. How did they poo and pee before the invention of vacuum toilets for the ISS.
Do not post information about the poo they left behind in bags on the moon, this does not answer the question, if you do post information about that and do not answer my question i will know you are a dumbass.
So astronauts shat and pee'd in diapers for ~six days in low gravity, where pieces of shit and small fecal matter and piss could fly around, and particles could blow into the guy next to you, into circuits, onto papers and other delicate equipment.
I'll do you one better, here is their official report.
The following radio traffic is official Nasa transcription :
"Stand by Houston...prepping the ec-99 for circuit reset..... What's that? yeah just go >ahead Armstrong...yuo don't have to ask"
"bbrrrrrAAAPPPPPP"
Houston: "What was that eagle ?"
"Uh...Prepping ec-99 for telemetry. Can we get the 446 six..uh..six niner please. Reset circuit 77.... oh MY GOD . What did you eat Armstrong....
Houston: "errr, come again eagle, what was that last radio...did not receiver. over"
"HURK...hurk....the smell. it just lingers....hurk....armstrong just took a shit right next to me...hurk"
bro, come on. You can't shit in a plastic bag in zero G's in an air contained
rotating box next to two other people also peeing pooping during days of fatigue inducing precise maneuvers.
Both are true. Depends on your reality you choose. I say no because in my reality, there are people that are attempting to keep us ignorant to our true power.
13% seems about the rate of non-compliance with covid policies in the west - so I'd say the gig is still out here; majority/mob rule does not imply competance
14% of No. OMFG.
It means SN (or Bitcoin) managed to attract a whole lot of ignorant/idiotic conspiracy buttheads.
1 out of 7 bitcoiners a complete idiot... Bit depressing if you ask me.
There is a good episode in the What Files about the moon landing conspiracy. He believes the moon landing was real but they did found something else that they want to keep secret.
No such thing as stupid questions…. only stupid people.
And those people who ‘question the average intellect of the stacker news poster’ are proving that point.
I confront anyone who questions whether we landed on the moon with the same statement. They can’t prove we have been there anymore they can prove the moon actually exists. It’s a philosophical consideration about the nature of truth and ‘seeing as believing’ and gets really interesting really quickly.
