What are some good international SIM cards?

Something that would work everywhere for a fixed amount of money per week/month.

It's fine if it's just one area, say Europe, or South America, etc, as long as you would be able to buy it beforehand.

Only data is relevant, I don't care about a phone number or calls/SMS.

Have you heard of silent.link?

Bitrefill also offers eSIMs now, but they're less interesting to me.

Interesting, but just for now I'm looking for a physical SIM card, not an eSIM, but maybe I will need an eSIM at some point later on.

Why are Bitrefill eSIMs less interesting though?

I know you said you arent interested in esims right now, but they really are pretty awesome. I spent some time in Europe this year, and silent.link esims worked pretty great all over.

As soon as I landed I bought an esim on the airport WiFi and I installed it on my phone with a couple taps. Topped it up whenever I got low. Worked pretty amazing. Cost about $10 a month. Paid in sats.

Data only, no phone number.

I'm not a heavy data user, but it did browsing, messaging apps, things like uber and maps no problem.

For me personally, because your data balance is limited to 30 days and your eSIM expires. With silent.link, your balance never expires and you can keep on using the same eSIM. I'm not a power user, so silent.link allows me to spend way less on data each month.

Be aware, Silent.link data-only eSIMs have the user coming out of the cell network onto the internet in Poland, and there's no way to change that. IMO it's not ideal for people the US trying to make debit/credit card purchases as one might do with an everyday physical sim provider.
