I would like to think this is true - is there any way to verify if they are genuine zaps?
As I understand that zap receipts can be faked - and a post that has received nearly 1 BTC but only 5 likes and 1 comment seems somewhat unusual.
EDIT: It seems that possibly Primal are not validating the zaps. If you check the same event id on nostr.social there are only 933 sats donated

Oh shit, I trusted and didn't verify.
Thanks for your service, sir. Here are some sats.

933 sats is still good

LOL. That is most definitely a bug with Primal

Seems there was another one where they don't validate nip-05 properly

Yesterday, someone shared a tool to manipulate the data on Primal, so many people were doing it.
I think one of the good ways to verify is the comments vs. zaps ratio, e.g. one post with millions of zaps, yet 2-5 comments do not make any sense.

Rookie mistake on my part. Oops.
