I can see that. I’m looking for use chases and they are few and far between. A web site that can’t be taken down is appealing, but not easily done. Wallets don’t seems to support the ens paynyms.
Yes, I think it's only meta mask and trust wallet who probably all have stake in the company seems like a bit of a circle jerk project, aimed at people and companies who are in the NFt space like oh you got an NFT project get a domain for easier payments or whatever
As someone who works on websites for a living, I don't see this idea catching on, normies and businesses can barely manage the custodial domains they have no, imagine messing up your wallet and losing your domain and you built up traffic and links to it lol would be such a balls up
