It's clear to me that the USD will eventually and soon lose it Reserve Status, but to what.
In my opinion a neutral bridge currency created by ripple labs in San Francisco.
I know for sure XRP is the chosen one for this task and has been for years, it takes time for plans on a monumental scale to be implemented.
Eventually the value of XRP will have to be raised to account for the quadrillions of value in the world.
It'll be backed by resources not just gold. You name it Palladium, Nickle, Silver the list goes on.
Also lets bring in the BRICS factor which I haven't quite figured out. My guess that the R5 project will be a one currency within BRICS for trade outside the Bloc, but different from the Euro. In sense sense of how it's value will be backed and the fact that BRICS will keep each of their individual currencies.
