With prices this high, what are the reasons why there isn't more construction going on? I'm well aware that the state-banking cartel needs property prices to keep rising in order to exist via debt interest or taxes, but why can't the free market counterbalance this with more construction? Is it the lack of new building land? Is it a lack of materials or high wages? Too much regulation? Isn't there a change of method/technology that could increase production?
A constructivist policy is not to be expected from those in power, because the fiat house of cards could not hold, but will the free market ever really be able to reduce the cost of housing?
The idea of tiny houses is interesting, but not perfect. Boxabl, for example, only exists in the US.
What country are you talking about? have you looked at interest rates lately?

I'm in France, I know the effects of interest rates, I'm just trying to understand why human innovation hasn't managed to find a solution, other than simply through money/finance. Because it's now a real societal problem, and I don't think construction has really changed in several decades.
