Short answer: people are too stupid Longer answer: Few days ago i made a poll "Do you think nostr will replace twitter", results was 50/50. I've seen people for whom creating a Mastodon account was too difficult simply because there are so many instances; it's too hard for the average user and they have to spend some time figuring out what a seed phrase is and searching for people without an algorithm. It can currently be a great alternative for tech and crypto bitcon people.
