The Survivor pool trash talk has begun and we haven't even seen a game yet.
So far most people aren't going out on a limb with their week 1 picks but shout out to @BlokchainB for picking the Falcons. I think the Falcons have a shot to win that crazy NFC South division and should win at home week 1 against the Panthers but I am going to say that Blok went out on the risk curve a bit here.
Last year during the playoffs, and during the NBA playoffs I did a weekly (by round in nba playoffs) 1k sats bounty for who could pick the most winners. Would you guys be interested in me doing that as well as the survivor pool? Was thinking then some folks that didn't get into the survivor pool could still participate in some way.
I think it's a good idea but trying to think through what it would look like. How many games, straight up or against the spread? Maybe I just take the 3 or 4 closest spread games for the week and everyone picks straight up, most correct wins gets 1k sats.
Give me your thoughts.

I think this is a good idea, not only for those who missed out on the survivor pool, but also for those who will lose the survivor pool early on. Gives additional meaning to the games each week

Something about the way the Lions finished last season and seem to have done a good job fixing their secondary. I don't think Goff is a great QB but I think he is good. Campbell is a good coach. I think you and Public will be trash talking each other all year over who will win the NFC North.

Love it!
Maybe do the prime time games each week. That's about the right number and they're supposedly interesting games. You could also toss in the international games when we get those.

The only problem with TNF is I would need to post it on Tuesday to give people a couple days to get their picks in and that's the day I will be posting the survivor pool stuff. I was thinking Fridays for this one.

Yeah I understand, 16 is a big ask but list 16 games and pick a winner on each, most correct wins pot doesn't have to be 100% correct just more than everyone else, 5 games has a larger chance to end up in a tie. could be a weekly tournament calling all the games each week with a weekly buy in to fund it. A drop in drop out buy in one week no obligation to play week 2. Able to buy in week 3 kinda thing. So I was assuming that it'd be most called correct games takes 1k (pot limited to insure that if there are less players one week, the pot doesn't decrease).
