The winds were strong and a tsunami was brewing
Grappling hook ready for the next in queuing
The pillaging pirates approached the shore
After searching for treasure on the ocean floor
The treasure was locked away in cold storage
24 words outlasted the captains' porridge
The pirates grew hungry and had to flee
Ravaging away but never finding the key
As time passed they had to change
Their force weakened and grew estrange
Lessons were learned from the past
Stealing from others was not so fast
The more work the pirates had use
The tighter got their own noose
With each new law they tried to introduce
Another freed citizen was set loose
No more were the days of walking the plank
Muskets, blunderbus, and cannon all ran blank
Plebs were not a constantly robbed bank
The ship heavily damaged and finally sank
The plebs came together to have a drink
As they knew freedom was on the brink
But after pirates comes a tank
So never keep your keys at a bank
