I heard about it around 2012-2013 at some warez type of website. I installed the wallet, I got I think half a bitcoin from a faucet, but I didn't like the UX, so I deleted it...

And then mid 2017 I heard about it again and though, "ok, let's actually figured out what is this Bitcoin thing about". I looked up some videos on youtube, read some articles. I haven't stopped since then and here we are :)
