Jitsi is great for video calls. It also comes bundled with Matrix server. Self-host it.

I just checked and the authentication mechanism looks like it is enforced only in the enterprise version run by 8x8 (according to the blog it is 8x8 which will save authenticated users). Correct me if I am wrong.
