As a non-American, I'm not the best person to comment too much on the details in this article, as I'm not really familiar with many of the (lots) of reports, programs and agencies the author links to.

However, the gist of what he writes about is quite sobering and may well apply to other territories just as much. I intend digging deeper into this over the next few days.

Bitcoiners - American or not - probably care more about these issues than your average Joe, so if none of this surprises you, I won't be surprised. :)

The author does (right at the end) promote his "new book" on the subject, but in this case at least, I'm actually glad he did, as it appears he knows his stuff and his book(s) may be just as interesting:
