I agree they are shitcoins, I just think it's a means to an end, and a short term gimmick,that shitcoins use, locking up the native currency to back stablecoins and attract normies who just want to use a medium they understand

My only hope is that if they do it on the bitcoin network, it gets users in and they eventually move to the real stablecoin satoshis

As for the promoting of stablecoins, you won't here me backing it personally.
