Good call out. For the purpose of inspiring independent creators, a solid and balanced POV. However, centralization of the narrative building is likely to happen unless there is a tech solution.
Useful content creation is not trivial and plebs can't do it sustainably. Hired intellectuals (people who shape narrative) do have an edge.
We see this challenge repeatedly in various forms.
Bitcoin mining: we talk about centralization in mining and say we want little guys to do mining. However, plebs can't do it sustainably.
LN nodes: We face and/or are going to face similar challenges with node operation. it is not trivial for plebs to run node sustainability.
In general complexity of tasks and resource requirements make it harder for plebs to compete with big guys.
Bitcoin is/was a special case. Appreciation of the value of the network afforded earlier plebs freedom to continue building/writing. Unfortunately, this might change.
The goal of my comment is that there should be a focus on debating/designing a techno-game theoretical solution to it.
