Does answering the question help users hide their digital identity?

If users discloses the browser and extensions they use, wouldn't that help reveal who they are?

There's lots of people who use Chrome for instance, but if you say you use x,y and z extensions, you're in a much smaller subgroup - and therefore can be identified far more easily.
