I wonder if all this chatGPT hype will become something for Microsoft, they sinking a lot into this bet, and I still don't see how it really improves search for users in a way that they would want to leave google, the network effect is just so strong

Despite google making their results so shit, stuffing so much of their own products in serps and removing content they don't like, it just shows how much google can fuck up and people will stay, the same with Apple, its the same phone for 10 years and people still keep buying it like its a crazy upgrade each year
