pull down to refresh

The big thing here is better image stuff (via @ekzyis). When you click on a image now, it'll go fullscreen rather than resizing in place. It also won't ruin your image quality anymore. I'm running a migration now that will take advantage of this across all of our old content. It should finish before too long.

We made sub-switching more like a filter. Before, switching subs would cause you to navigate to the frontpage of the sub, regardless of what page you were on. Now it doesn't. e.g. if you're on ~meta/recent and select ~bitcoin you'll now go to ~bitcoin/recent rather than ~bitcoin ... I think this is more intuitive but let me know if you feel otherwise.

Notifications got a little slow after the introductions of mutes. I've rewritten some of that so it's as fast or faster than before.

You can now mute saloon @nullcount.

We have a bunch of really cool stuff waiting to be merged. I'm a little behind on PRs but these all should see the light of day next week.

Little bug. Seem to sometimes get a 404 when switching subs

Was this after a refresh? We are still having cache issues when I release stuff

reply

Seems resolved

reply

Ah, I found it. If you're on an item, then try to go to select 'home' you 404.

Thanks siggy! I'm deploying a fix now

reply

I don't think so. I just got it again.

reply

It might not happen if you refresh or hard exit the pwa and then reopen

reply

Actually it just happened to me too

reply

I thought about proposing the sub switching behavior you described but I just thought I was using it in a unique way so I squashed it lol

reply

Nope, I think it's the more intuitive behavior! But we'll see!

reply

I think I tested it on Reddit and they didn’t do it so I figured I was the weird one! Lol

reply

I wonder if it is possible to enable the autorotate screen in android PWA when viewing an image in the new full screen viewer and when closing the image back to vertical orientation or whatever orientation was used before opening the image.

reply

Fullscreen images appear broken on mobile safari. I'm not sure why. Looking into it

reply

Also on Safari desktop.

Can you link to the image giving you trouble? I'm noticing some of them work fine

The image above. Pasting below the errors that I got, but I opened a private window in Safari and images load fine, so I'm assuming cache?
