Can't say about others, but I would certainly not trust a wallet ever created by any corporate; unless it is open-source and tested rigorously of any backdoor attacks
FOSS, and having a good developer community is the way to go
And even then, I wouldn't have auto update turned on.
Additionally, I'd never use a crypto wallet. A bloated code base makes for difficult review. I'd rather just a Bitcoin wallet and nothing else.
Also, crypto wallet implies no lightning network support. If its a mobile phone app, then its useless as a Bitcoin wallet. I keep on-chain stuff in cold storage afterall.
