I was a regular user of Mastodon, enjoying the freedom of decentralized social networking and the ability to connect with like-minded individuals. Unfortunately, the server I had been using decided to only allow people from a few countries.

Since we could only move the followers and not the posts, It was no use to keep the account anymore and I decided to delete the account by using a VPN to access the site.

That's when I stumbled upon Nostr, a decentralized social network that prioritizes user privacy and control. Intrigued by its principles and features, I decided to give it a try.
And trust me Nostr is so much better.
