I'm all for this project, it seems cool, but the attitude that content moderation is equivalent to a moral failing is absurd.
It's perfectly reasonable for someone not to want to host a comment dumpster-fire on their site. You don't have to solve the problem for them, but your solution is going to marginalized while they wait for somebody else to do it.
You might want to take your own advice wrt humility.
What do you mean for "moral filing"?
I understand my approach is a bit unmoral and too direct... maybe I'll wake up in front of the issue when our site will be covered with spam comments!
I believe that caring for the community that supports you/your-project is really important. But we should stop taking responsibilities and control over others.
It will be nice to have an option to `mute-npub' on nostr so everything published by certain users will be hidden for you (but not from the rest of the community/network). But again, it's you taking action, not someone else for you.
We need to learn, un-learn from past isn't easy...
