I’ve always been skeptical of doing this. I always charge through my own power brick. Just seems ripe for issues, plugging your phone in to any USB port. Same deal as plugging a USB drive you find into your computer, just don’t.

i read this a few months ago. makes sense. i sometimes use a charger at a bar, but that's rare.
