As for sports, that was a fun day of football. I was quite dismayed after the 49ers loss (mostly due to the injuries and missed game winning FG by the rookie- teams are gonna have a stinker once and awhile and Browns D is excellent) but then the Eagles lost and life was good again. Impressive days from the Jets and Lions. A few of you escaped the survivor pool guillotine with the Bills holding off the Giants from the 1 yard line on the last play of the game. So no one eliminated this week!
Where did playoff Jordan Montgomery come from? I did not see him completely shutting down the Astros lineup and making Yordan Alvarez look silly.
Our MLB playoff bracket challenge is looking pretty bleak. Only one player has a team left so they will win if the Astros win. If not it will revert to tiebreaker. I forgot to do a championship round pick em. Maybe I will do something for a game 7 if one happens. If not, I will come up with something for the WS.
Tonight I will be watching MNF and NLCS game 1 if anyone is around and wants to chat about the games.

Thanks GR. It was a crazy weekend of football. I did not see the 9ers and the eagles losing to the browns and jets respectively. Let alone the giants almost toppling the bills. Wild weekend.

Everyone had the Dolphins, Rams and Bills. We would have lost 3 if Bills had lost.

Yes it was pretty wild. 49ers primed for a bounce back week on Monday night football. Your Vikings better be ready.
I guess we will see about the injuries though.

Our defence might be, but our offense is dire right now. JJ on IR, Addison still adjusting to life in the NFL and the TE we paid as if he was Travis Kelce couldn't catch a cold in the snow right now. Something's up with him, I wonder if it's balance issues and vertigo from that inner ear thing he had. That can really linger and mess with you.

Maybe but the Eagles haven't looked like the NFC championship winning Eagles all season despite the fact they have been winning.

Somehow, the Raiders are a .500 team, at the 1/3 mark, and favored going into next week. They would probably be 1-5 if not for Mad Maxx Crosby.
