I've been wondering what the best learning curve is for someone like a waiter who accepted bitcoin as a tip. I doubt that this in itself will send them down the rabbit hole. So what do they need to know? In what order? This person is probably not going to wonder why inflation is theft, or what Austrian economics is.
The tip was probably in the form of a lightning payment, accepted through Wallet of Satoshi or Muun. Simply because in my mind, those two are the simplest to get someone to quickly accept bitcoin.
Here are some suggested learning points I think one would recommend for them:
- What is Bitcoin
- How can you spend it / should you spend it now
- Difference between lighting and on-chain
- What is a bitcoin wallet
- How to back up your wallet
- Difference between custodial and non-custodial
Any thoughts on this topic?
