Planning on bringing a few people into the Bitcoin family this weekend. I am thinking that Muun might be the Lightning wallet I have them download b/c it makes it makes easy to send to base layer wallets. Part two will be having them download Bluewallet for a custodial option. Any thoughts on this plan? I think I have 4 different lightning wallets in use at this point, so choosing one is difficult. We all use IOS so... Trying to make things easy so the less technical are not so overwhelmed that they lose interest.
Muun is not really a lightning wallet. I don't know if they have improved it now but it was a disaster when the fees went up. Try Phoenix or Breez or Blixt

Nice plan.
Creating a Bitcoin circular economy. If you have enough users making and accepting Bitcoin payments in your local community, you'll find easy to break away from fiat monetary bondage and reclaim financial freedom.

Quick and Easy: Wallet of Satoshi
Seed practice: Blue Wallet

Muun is a good choice as on-chain wallet that can occasionally output lightning transactions, through painless (but sometimes expensive) submarine swaps. If you're onboarding newbies for the first time just let them download WoS, stressing the fact that a custodial solution is NOT the best way. Later on, when they get a grip on Bitcoin, point them towards Phoenix and let them build their first hardware wallet with Seedsigner (also a fun activity to do together, with great educational value).
