I can totally relate, graduated from uni a few years ago and got my first job as an innovation manager for a multinational bank. Sounds great on a resume and salary+benefits are good, but these are literally the only things keeping me in my bullshit job. After years of frustration, I came to the conclusion that developing a meaningful career walks on a path made of trade-offs and mistakes that we can learn from. My current strategy is: endure at least 1 more year to get to a higher salary scale and use it as leverage while getting another job. In the meantime, stack as much as possible. Stack not only money that can help you fulfill your dreams (I would like to buy a small apartment and start a couple of small companies in the short term), but also experiences and business connections, it will all pay off in the near future. This has been my journey so far, I hope you soon find yours. And don’t hesitate to ask for advice, this is a great community that will always have your back if you don’t mind a couple of roasts every now and then ;)
