I saw a documentary on this, why do you think this is such a growing trend in Japan, how are so many able to live/survive are there just so many remote jobs/wtf opportunities, or is there a social safety net that makes this possible?
Are there no social clubs or sports clubs to join? I know if I didn't play sports, id probably not have the social circle I have today.
In the documentary I saw it was only men, does this also happen with women?
