I think I'm going to switch to self-hosted Mutiny, wrote up some notes.

Whoop! Yeah even with a password manager, the ux of basic auth on mobile is sooo bad.

If you're going to go through all this nonsense to self-host a "mobile" node, just run a real remote node with a mobile UI.
The mutiny architecture literally makes all of the worst tradeoffs.

What counts as a "real remote node"?

Not running on the phone.
If you're going through the trouble to set up a server, there's no sense running a crippled version of a Lightning node on the phone.

Hmm, not sure I agree @ "no sense", I can think of a few benefits of the mutiny architecture over a dedicated full node.
