For some, October 31st symbolizes Halloween.
For those who understand that the current system is flawed and not fixable, October 31st is a far more important day in the history of the world.
It was on October 31, 2023, that Satoshi Nakamoto published the Bitcoin whitepaper.
A few months after the start of the 2008 crisis, Satoshi Nakamoto delivered to the world the beginnings of the single currency revolution that was to kick off on January 3, 2009.
I'll let you rediscover the email Satoshi Nakamoto published on October 31, 2008, announcing to the world Bitcoin, a P2P e-cash system, with no trusted third party.
The revolution was underway.
Happy Bitcoin White Paper Day everyone!

An honest mistake. Don’t beat yourself up.
Actually, there’s no mention* of the publish date in the whitepaper itself so maybe you could’ve gotten away with it ;-)
*Although it does mention the year 2008 to say that computer systems were currently selling with 2gb of RAM. https://bitcoin.org/en/bitcoin-paper

I like not having the ability to edit my responses or messages so that my content is like the blocks of the Bitcoin Blockchain: immutable.
Mistakes are part of life and you just have to correct them on the next “block” ;)
