Quit my day job as a software dev to pursue open source cryptography and bitcoin projects full time. It's slower progress than I hoped, but i've already learned more in 6 months than I have in the past 6 years. Having the best (nerdiest) time of my life honestly.

Next year's will probably be even bigger: my wife and I are planning to get a small house together.

And all this, thanks to Bitcoin. I would never have expected to see myself at this stage 5 years ago.
