Everyone else's image of God is wrong but your image is right.
This is very important. What your image is of God needs to be filtered out of all of the nonsense that you have been told what God is. Ultimately you have filtered this information regardless of whether it was right or wrong. You have set up a model and that model is based on external factors and internal reasoning.
In reality the true relationship and image is within and without.
My favorite thing to do is silent prayers. I silently pray very early in the morning. I am grateful for people, places, things and knowledge. I acknowledge this to God. This is how I pray.
What you do and see is important as well. Your image, prayers and practice are not stagnant. When you investigate you will find many allegories, approaches and symbols. Symbols can be seen and heard. For me the silent prayer is the most powerful.
Your image of God needs to be defined sometimes. God, literally, means to "ask" and it is similar to goad, good, got, and gut. In Latin the term Theo means light, as in theology or logical light. To the ancient Greeks the term was Dios for light. To the Hindus the term was Deva for light.
Darkness is one part of life and light is another part. Your image is clarity. The very beautiful thing about your image is that the light that is shed upon it has a frame of darkness. It's a wave. It has peaks and valleys.
How then can one be A + Theo... Without Light?
Only in embracing darkness without vision is one without light. Darkness and light are the Yin and Yang.
In the desert there were three cults that developed.
Astrotheology cults developed.
Star cult.
Lunar cult.
Solar cult.
These are snapshots for you and I if we get lost there are stars to navigate. Little lights that reflect within and without.
Imagine that you can go outside and see the whole universe with your eyes and mind. This is why your image is correct.
