I've started writing a technical overview of Bitcoin, which once it's done will be published. The overview's mainly catered towards the advanced Bitcoiner, but certainly useful for beginners, too.
Although I've already made a list of topics that I'll cover in the overview, I'd like to know what others would like to read about, too.
Remember, it's strictly about Bitcoin's technical side, and although advanced, not on the level of a Bitcoin Developer.
I'm interested to see what's on you guys list!
UTXOs and how they can scale. How can every transaction that people have ever made be stored in a scalable way? Intro to UTREEXO.

Isn't this one of the usecases of an archival node, storing each-and-every historical UTXO Set ever made?
reply
That would be a great thing to explain in a technical overview for the advanced bitcoiner :)
reply
Well, I already have that covered under the explainer of Archival nodes... Could you expand on it? Maybe I'm skimping something?

Hefty.

Please hammer home Taproot. There is not enough introductory information on how these scripts are formed compared to older script templates like P2WPK. Also, I can design web applications if you are interested in working together. If the plan is to release the text under an open license I'd be happy to work on the website.

Taproot... Hmm I'll see. Thanks for the offer my humble stackerino, I'll keep you in mind.

  1. Transactions
  2. Wallets
  3. P2P network

I'll have them covered.

It's a great idea that is sure to help. Where is the line between beginner/advanced in Bitcoin?
reply
In the amount of context supplied, the wording used and the complexity in which certain topics are presented.
