Before cooking put the cheese in between both pattys then pinch around the burger to seal the cheese inside. Then cook. Enjoy the melt within the beef ๐Ÿ‘
Edit: fold the slice of cheese in half twice so youโ€™ll have 4 little squares, put that in between the beef pattyโ€™s .

I'm more of smash burger on a cast iron griddle kind of man. I really like The Burger Scholar's videos for these. My favorite is the Oklahoma fried onion burger.
