And considering there was a nation-wide eviction moratorium only a few years ago, renting out homes is a seriously risky venture nowadays. If tons of Americans end up on the verge of losing their homes (which is very likely), the Federal government might impose another eviction moratorium -- and who knows if that will include renters or just mortgagers like it did in 2020.
