Yeah that's kind of a shit situation. But at least they were honest about it. I hope long term they get into their own web crawler and stuff - I know they already build lots of stuff on top of Microsoft, so they aren't allergic to developing stuff themselves.

That's giving them too much credit. They admitted to the tracking after they were caught doing it. Frankly, it is a huge breach of trust. If I wanted to be tracked, I'd just use Google. Delete DDG.
