PRAYER OF THE DAY - 26/11/23.

Lord God, as we begin this new day, I seek inspiration in the account of Esther 6. Just as King Ahasuerus sought reasons to honor in the chronicles, may I also seek reasons for recognition and gratitude in my life.

May, in moments of restlessness, I find reasons to praise and be grateful. May the search for righteousness and justice, exemplified by Mordecai, be the guide of my actions, so that Your honor may be manifested in every step I take.

Grant me the humility to recognize that all honor comes from You. That, even in the face of adversity, I trust in Your providence, knowing that Your justice prevails at the right time.

Help me to act with discernment and integrity, even when faced with opposition. May trust in You strengthen me in the face of adversity, knowing that, at the right time, the truth will manifest itself.

It inspires me to be an instrument of honor and benevolence, regardless of the circumstances. May my attitudes reflect Your light, dispelling the darkness around me and glorifying Your name.

As I contemplate the exaltation of Mordecai, it reminds me that true greatness lies in serving and honoring others. May, in my search for recognition, I value and celebrate the victories of those around me.

May the disappointments and disillusionments of pride and arrogance dissipate before Your wisdom. May I learn from experiences, transforming adversities into opportunities for reflection and repentance.

Lord, may the truth prevail amidst the plots and intrigues of life. May, just as Mordecai returned to the king's door with integrity and dignity, may I face this day with courage, wisdom and trust in You.
