It's more the adventure and the feeling you are helping the network that a ROI in fiat terms, we need more of this. The fan hack is something that we all do, seems funny to me, I have an extra couple of fans just in case.
My key point to not bought any of this is the noise... I already put in some comments, we need a miner with passive cooling, no fan, just a big chunk of metal, so you could leave in your house without issues.
I am waiting for a bitaxe[0] custom hardware, it has all my "tickets".

I was looking at this 201, look's like 6 units are needed to compare with the Apollo performances. Electricity cost, probably irrelevant...
