Lobsters and crabs are in the same phylum as insects: arthropoda. In fact, lobster used to be considered trash food (because they look gross), until some time in the 19th century.

I ain't ever eating bugs... but it's kind of interesting how people seem to have no issues eating lobsters and crabs... when I stare at them too long I start to think they look like bugs and it kind of grosses me out.  I'm not a fan of drumsticks for the same reason all of the little tendons reminds me I'm eating an animal...
