With the recent watering down of Binance & the sudden removal of Wallet of Satoshi from the US market, it makes me think that Tether could be next.
Interested in watching from an objective standpoint (as in I don't hold any tether of course) how this will play out.
So how does tether fail?
Huge fine (like binance)15.4%
Confiscation of UST (like Russia)30.8%
Incorporate into their CBDC0.0%
Tether will not fail.23.1%
Other 30.8%

Tether is one of the biggest buyers of US treasure bonds, they will exist as long as they fuel the fiat ponzi.

Surely they need to do something, even if tether is good for their fiat ponzi

Same like any other bank, they go bust. Their customers want their dollars back, but their debtors are not repaying those same dollars.

Tether won't fail. The US has brought them into the fold and USDT is a tool for state surveillance. No need for their CBDC, they already have one.
