John, Understand why you did this because at starbackr we went through this integration with Stripe a couple of weeks ago to onboard no coiners...!
My question is about your $0 business model. Even Stripe is free? How are you planning to make money?
The credit card payments go straight to the Stripe user's account, so they pay the standard Stripe cc fees directly (~3%). We have an opportunity to add an 'application fee' on top of that if we choose. For example, we could add 0.5% to all cc payments going through Zaprite.
However, my first choice is to introduce standard monthly subscription plans for Zaprite. That way, all payments remain free (to user's own self-custody wallets), and they only pay to access features they want to use on Zaprite.
After that we have many revenue-sharing options we are currently exploring. We can always partner with other companies for cloud node hosting, virtual debit cards, etc.
