After much discussion at family gatherings in the last couple years, one of them called me to get help with starting to Bitcoin. (Yes, it's a verb, maybe even a pronoun.) After answering her questions about how to send and store BTC, she downloaded Blue Wallet. I walked her through generation keys, and how to copy and paste her address by texting it to me. I explained the "Vault", or Multisig wallet option, and a brief explainer on the Lightning Network. Then, I did a screen share so she could watch me purchase BTC on Cashapp. Then she made her own first purchase, and she was very excited about it. Add one more soul to the journey. I'm excited to see her go down the rabbit hole and have another person to discuss the passion.

That's an interesting question. I think it is in part that she is a pretty adventurous type. Also persistence on my part too. A couple of her other siblings have expressed interest, but are more cautious.

I think it's a good self custody wallet that offers multiple account types and available on IOS. The interface is clean and simple too.

The big drawback is, that the wallet is hot. So take care.

Sounds good. It's the wallet I got my wife to download a couple years ago when I got her started in Bitcoin but I thought people weren't using it anymore. I still like it.
