So, it appears that either Mr. Wonderful Oleary didn't explain things well, or maybe they are purposely misrepresenting the purpose for a bitcoin mining farm. There's essentially no "storage" of data in these bitcoin mining "data centers".

The 50-megawatt facility will be powered with hydropower from the CSKT [Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes].
Bitzero announced on Wednesday that it would be opening similar data centers in North Dakota through a partnership with O’Leary, the company and the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation, according to a release from the state.
