Who would replace him?

Gavin? Looks like he gets a lot of international stage in recent weeks. And look how wonderful he flagged the clean city... got to love this boy

That's one of the big questions. Most people expect it to be Gavin Newsome. I don't have a strong prediction about it though. Florida's already cancelled their primary, so those are all Biden delegates already.

Newsom said he isn't seeking election this year though, and I can understand why. He would have a very hard time threading the needle on the Israel/Palestine conflict, which I think is also really hurting Biden right now.
But honestly, I do think it would be best to have a Newsom vs. DeSantis election. They represent two competing visions of America, without all of the extra baggage that Trump brings or the old-age issues that Biden faces.

I think the days of normal candidates may be in the past, but I suppose we'll see.

Are you posting link posts as discussion posts so it gets more zaps from more people?
reply
No, it's because I want people to actually look at it and share their thoughts. Feel free to just answer or comment on whatever prompt I have, if you don't want to check out the linked news item. I'm only posting things that I'm interested in talking about.

I think they've decided that they want to, but they haven't figured out how they want to do it yet.
reply
Until now the focus is on destroying the Trump campaign.
