I would like this type of searchable tag system because the current list is overwhelming. I tend to only check home or Ask_SN because they seem to be the most likely to get engagement.

Searchable tag system is the way to go, imho. Having tags presented in same fashion will also be nice i.e. Bitcoin, Mining, Coding and not bitcoin, Mining, coding_real_xyz
