How is waste management and recycling approached in your country?
In Germany, recycling has been a key focus for several years. There's even a deposit system for glass bottles and cans to address littering. Household waste is categorized into organic, residual, recyclable materials, paper, and cardboard. I've observed instances where waste is exported abroad, which i really don't think is good. I believe in the importance of effective waste separation and recycling, especially in reclaiming raw materials from waste to minimize the necessity for new resource extraction.

I think that recycling is a bit of a joke in the US. We act like we recycle many things but I have my doubt. I believe the best thing we can do, is on an individual basis, learn to consume less. Reuse what we have. Electric cars are not going to save us. Individuals must start taking responsibility for their own consumption.
