I honestly don't see why bitcoin would stabilize in value even as its market cap grows. Its value is purely demand driven and is extremely supply inelastic. No capital control to reestablish faith as well.
The proposed idea in the article makes perfect sense, but if the volatility remains high then wouldn't most people better off DCA into BTC?

What if, instead of treating the dollar as the primary medium of exchange and bitcoin as the store of value, we treated bitcoin as our base money and the dollar as one of many payment rails to move that money (bitcoin) through space?
