This is my favorite Tetris game nowadays, it's a homebrew but the quality is amazing.
It even has features like the "Flow" state taken from Tetriss Effect (PS4).
It's a native GBA rom, you can play on your console or emulator.

Sorry I mispelled it, it's the "Zone", it's basically a state where time stops and you can stack lines over lines for a enhanced bonus, it's greatly empowering.
In apotris you can play it in "Marathon" with the type "Zone", it triggers like in Tetris effect, wait the gauge to fill and press "SELECT" to trigger it.
This is a GBA rom, if you don't own a device you can play it in an emulator, I recommend mGBA or Retroarch (with mGBA as it's the most performant), just download the gba and load it to play.

Oh I see, makes sense.
Yeah, I'm running RetroArch on multiple devices and so I was interested if you enjoy it more on handheld or desktop (or something fancier, like running RetroArch on TV, which is also possible)?

I actually have quite the intricate setup, I might share it as a post if it seems interesting.
I have a raspberry pi 3 with Lakka (basically a RetroArch OS) connected to my TV as my main, then I have my save files synced to my phone for playing on the go and lastly, when the TV is in use by someone else, I can continue from my PC.
