What is the best timing to drop a nuke?

Did you ever ask yourself this? I think I didn't, a potential answer just came to me one day.

I realized almost 2 years ago, standing on a hill with friends and a ton of other random people, smoking cigarettes, already making a mess out of this place and people falling into the mud because it's so dark they can't see anything and they are drunk, with everyone looking at the dark sky, waiting for the fireworks to start:

Wait a minute... is this the best timing to drop a nuke? Because everyone is looking at the dark sky, waiting for fireworks to start, lol?

I think my friends didn't hear me or didn't want to listen, I don't know. I think the fireworks started at that moment.

I surely hope I am not right ...

I was really just wondering, if that is indeed the best timing. As if I am just thinking about timing attacks, trying to protect a system against such attacks, except taken this term more literally.

What do you think? Is there a better timing?
