It looks like one of the fights for the UFC pick 'em has been cancelled. Thanks @BTC_Bellzer for the heads up. We will go forward with just the four other fights and the tiebreaker.
Have any of you seen the Bye Bye Barry documentary on Amazon prime? It's the story of Barry Sanders and focusing in on his decision to retire while still in the prime of his career. The documentary is pretty good but what I enjoyed most was the sprinkling of great highlights throughout. After so many years you forget how incredibly elusive he was, making 4 of 5 guys miss on what looks like a broken play and suddenly he just ran for 30 yards.
It's a bit of a shame what has happened to the running back position in the NFL.
The more news that comes out regarding Ohtani's contract the more I am baffled by it. Apparently it has a provision that if either the Dodgers GM or principal owner leave the team during the contract term Ohtani can opt out. Very odd provision, amongst all the other odd provisions but I guess a highly unique contract is fitting for a highly unique player. It's a sad state of affairs that the free agent/trade market is so quiet that the baseball world is resigned to discussing contract provisions. Do something GMs.
Raptors won last night. First time in awhile. Maybe this will spur their big turnaround. Some interesting trade talk yesterday here on stacker sports. I heard that Giannis guy might turn into something, maybe he is available. 64 points, not bad.
I will jump on tonight for some Thursday Night Football action.
Sats for all, GR
Did you follow the after game Giannis drama regarding the game ball?

I saw some people posting something about it on twitter but I didn't really know what they were referring to.

He wanted the game ball because of his record 64 point game. His equipment manager got the ball and brought it to the back. The Pacers equipment manager got a reserve ball and gave to the Pacers rookie because he scored his first points in a regular season game. Giannis didn't know his equipment manager already got the ball for him, thought the Pacers got the actual game ball, and he went berserk. I think at one point, he was chasing the Pacers equipment manager to their locker room haha. He went back on the court after storming the Pacers locker room and was demanding Haliburton to go get him the ball. But in the end, it was all a misunderstanding and everyone got what they wanted, I guess?

MLB does this stuff the best. Something notable (first hit) or historic happens, ball comes out of game immediately and gets authenticated.
