I don't know why, but I feel the need to put out an advertisement. This space, and even this community on stacker news, seem to be populated with plenty of people who have technical know-how and expertise. I love that and I want that to stay on the forefront - because if you heard from people like me too much, the conversation would be lacking details and therefore significance.
With the release of the bitkey and new in-app, self-custodial lightning solutions, I want to say that there is a huge need to continue providing robust products for people with no technical background.
I am an enthusiastic bitcoiner, and am very willing to be on the cutting edge of almost anything, but there's something in my brain that doesn't think sequentially. You just can't tell me to follow the documentation and expect results.
In fact, sometimes I go to GitHub pages for the readme, but despite my interest, willingness and gumption, it's not the place for me. It's like a toddler looking up at his father's work desk and only seeing the shiny things.
Please continue to make create, and develop products that take all the technical know how out of the equation. Maybe think of it like the integration of the iPhone and MacBook that is seamless & powerful, but with no need to configure, IP addresses, ports, drivers or the like.
Keep up the good work and keep innovating. The technotards will come.
